Voices of a Never Ending Dawn
The soldiers called themselves " The Polar Bears ". When World War One ended on November 11, 1918 these men expected to be called home, but that call never came. They were left to fight a savage enemy in Northern Russia eight long months after the war ended, waist deep in snow and in 60 degree below zero weather. There has never been a group of soldiers more tested. They finally became one of the most highly decorated regiments in all of WW1. This is their story.
